Colin Haun was recommended by another craftsman who installed a staircase for us. Although we had a basic idea for the cabinet that we wanted built, Colin's experience was readily apparent by the many questions he asked and the suggestions he offered. Colin recommended the Claro Walnut used in the project and personally visited the supplier to select the specific pieces. He cogently explained the techniques such as grain matching and bookending that he proposed to use. Colin takes great pride in his work, both in the shop and in the installation in the home. In addition to the cabinet Colin designed and built a beautiful small coffee table from the wood remaining for the cabinet project. Photos of the cabinet and table are included on this site, Colin is a true craftsman and a pleasure to work with. We will certainly use his service in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a quality wood craftsman.
Haun was great! We have the most awesome reception desk in the NW!!! And our workstation desks are perfect!!! Their attention to detail was very good. Clean and neat during the install too.
Colin and the Haun Made crew helped me design a custom made kitchen island, then he built it. I didn't have too much space to work with and I really needed more storage and convenience, I like to cook but I don't like having to unload shelves to find what I need. Through his patience, knowledge and creativity he designed the perfect, space efficient, easy to use island. There is so much I love about it; including the built in spice rack and knife drawer, the pull out shelves ( I don't know what I did without them) and the wood surface that is not only beautiful but turns the island into a work of art. The whole process went smooth and has totally exceeded my expectations.
